We try to make the best of our wonderful location in the Cambridgeshire countryside spending plenty of time outside taking the children on visits to the duck pond and walks through the woods full of bluebells.
Papworth Everard is a beautiful Cambridgeshire village that is always quiet and peaceful and full of great places to take children exploring and having fun. The nursery includes its own enclosed and large garden, then we have an even larger “garden” beyond that; located in the grounds of Papworth Hall we have full access to their stunning land and duck pond. Just beyond the grounds of the Hall is the village itself, farmland and some really gorgeous English woodland full of bluebells in spring.
Just a few of the places we regularly visit outside the nursery building include;
Our fully enclosed and secure private garden
Bright conservatory for when the weather is too cold
The grounds of Papworth Hall
Papworth woods and their stunning bluebells
Public recreation ground with its paddling pool
Papworth Hall’s large duck pond
Visits to experience the local primary school
Local Library
Our nursery team are all fully qualified in childcare and protection only ever taking small and very well supervised groups of children outside. We make sure that every child gets the opportunity to experience and understand more than the four walls of a building but also in absolute safety and security.
