Indoors At The Nursery
Papworth Hall’s Old Coach House was fully refurbished to a purpose designed day nursery plan when we established the nursery in 2000, and was recently extended to offer even larger and better facilities.
Our main nursery building is divided into four main areas, equipped, decorated and designed with a range of age groups in mind. The rooms include a specific baby room as well as a main hall, conservatory, and garden variously used by the under 2’s, 2 – 3 year olds and the 3 – 5 year olds groups. Perfectly located on the edge of the country village of Papworth Everard we often take the children out on nature walks and other outdoor activities as well as inviting guests like the police or fire brigade to come and chat to everyone about personal or fire safety.

The nursery is family owned and run to feel like a family style community; Naomi manages the nursery, her dad Terry handles all the day-to-day maintenance of the building and garden whilst mum Ros does all the cooking for children and staff. All meals are freshly prepared and designed around good nutrition with a focus on 5-a-day vegetables and fruit and of course we very happily cater to specific requirements, allergies or religious requirements as requested.

Children’s Ark Day Nursery supports children and their parents from across the local region including Cambridge, Huntingdon, St Ives, St Neots, Sandy, Biggleswade and of course our own village of Papworth Everard. Caring for up to 54 pre-school babies and children every day we are OFSTED registered and members of the National Day Nurseries Association.
