Facilities and activities
The nursery building is divided into 4 main areas: the baby room, the main hall, the conservatory and the library.
The baby room can accommodate 9 children, whilst the other areas are used by the under 2’s, the 2-3 years and the 3-5 year old groups.
The children can enjoy a full range of outdoor activities in our fully enclosed and secure garden. The conservatory is used for some of these activities during inclement weather e.g. Sand and water play.
We are very fortunate to have such beautiful surroundings and make full use of these by taking the children on nature walks throughout the year.
All of the children’s meals are freshly prepared in the kitchen by our own cook. The children will be given a wide range of meals based on receiving their 5 a day portions of fruit and vegetables. As far as possible we do not give the children processed or unhealthy meals and also cater for all dietary needs.
Based in Cambridge, we provide a choice of activities
which meet the requirements of the current developmental
standards. In addition to this, we offer French
lessons for the older children and regularly invite
guests to give talks on relevant issues such as the
Police, Fire Brigade etc.
Our staff are trained in “Tiny Talk” sign language for babies. For more information on this, please visit the “Our Staff” page.
